Dear parents,
Don’t
deprive your child from earning the rewards of praying Asr with the
congregation.
Now
that Asr prayer is early and is before the end of the school-day; Asr prayer
becomes a part of our school curriculum. Please
don’t pick up your child before he or she perform the congregational Asr
prayer.

an effort to enforce the importance of Salaat to our children, so that they
grow up to be strong believers.

- We only accept new students once a year.

As-salaam Alaikum,
Al-hamdulillah its been decided that Khala Wedad will be the "New Arabic Teacher" and Khala Rehab will be the Qur'an Teacher. Insha-Allah we will begin to switch classes (meaning the teachers will switch classes) Next week October 20th.
Please bring your child to school on time 10:15am or earlier. When they come late, they miss part of the lesson taught and there isn't enough time to catch them up on what was missed from the Islamic education, Qur'an or Arabic lessons.

As you may already know, the website has been having some problems which has been resolved Al-hamdulillah. Most of the problems was due to my lack of experience, please forgive me. Insha-Allah I will be making daily post to update the website.

1. Contacting the teacher:
During class hours in cases of emergency, please contact ‘sister Inaz or brother Nasr instead of the teacher. If a parent needs to speak with his/her child(ren), s/he should contact sister Inaz or brother Nasr. They will see to it that you reach your child(ren).
A letter will be sent home with their phone numbers so please save it to your mobile.

As you may already know, there will be an Islamic Quiz Sunday, March 25,2012 at the Shoreline Community College.
Dar Al-arqam is allowing a both to be set up on Saturday December 24, 2011 for parents who want their child(ren) to participate. The fee is $35.00 per child and books will be handed out in order to study for the quiz.
